Alpine Valley's enthusiastic children's Ski & Snowboarder Instructors are trained specifically in techniques for teaching children how to ski/snowboard and instilling a love for the sport and safe , fun nurturing environment.

All Classes are subject to availability and may sell out at any time. Maximum of 20 children per session and Minimum of 4 kids to run programs. We take first-come, first-served “basis - Sorry no reservation.) Lift tickets, rentals and helmets sold separately. Can be purchased @ lift ticket window. Start times – All lessons begin promptly at their designated times. Please allow enough time to arrange for lift tickets, equipment rentals, highly recommend renting helmets and bathroom stop before going to your designated meeting place. Due to the size of the Resort and the number of skiers enrolled in our activities, we are not able to accommodate late arrivals. Refunds will not be issued. Children must be completely potty-trained and willing to ski and snowboard.

Our Ski and Snowboard Instructors will help you excel quickly while learning one-on-one. You will receive personalized attention. The Instructors focus on technique and skills to help you achieve your goals.
Skiing and snowboarding can be enjoyed in many ways. At Alpine Valley Resort you may see people using Alpine skis, snowboards, Telemark skis and other specialized equipment, such as that used by disabled. Regardless of how you decide to enjoy the slopes, always remember to show courtesy to others and beware that there are elements of risk in skiing and that common sense along with personal awareness can help reduce accidents and injury.

Mountaineers is a club for young beginner skiers ages 5 to 10. This three week session with the same Alpine Valley resort professional instructor will allow each child to be trained specifically in techniques for children on how to ski and instilling the love for the sport in a safe, fun, nurturing environment.
Mountain Masters is a club for young intermediate skiers ages 5 to 10. This three week session with the same Alpine Valley Resort professional ski instructor. The skiers will learn how to control speed by make a series of wedge turns (small and large) on the beginner hill. Introduce how to match skis at beginning of turns and at the end of turns. Also, learn how to ride the chair lift. Please note that during the course of a lesson your child may be riding the lift alone.
Mountain Voyageurs is a club for young beginner snowboarder ages 7 to 12. This three week session with the same Alpine Valley Resort professional snowboard instructor. Each child will learn the correct techniques for snowboarding in a safe, fun, nurturing environment. Learn to ride the chair lift. Please note that during the course of a lesson your child may be riding the lift alone. Highly recommended renting a helmet for each session.

Times:
8:30 arrive at Ski School receive lift ticket and rental forms.
9:00 lesson meets outside at ski school with equipment and lift on.

Program Prices:
$130.00 three day lift tickets & 2 hour lesson.
$166.00 three day lift day tickets and three day ski rentals* & 2 hour lesson
$10.00 helmet rental per visit.
*Rentals must be returned at the end of the day
