The Ultimate Beginner Area in the Midwest !

New: Beginner Area with Terrain Based Learning: We have expanded and enclosed our beginner area to be 3 times larger. This spacious area with gentle gradual slopes will provide the never-ever skier and snowboarder an environment to learn the skills of balance, turning and stopping within the sport of skiing and snowboarding. Within the beginner area we offer 4 Wonder Carpet lifts which are moving conveyor belts allowing beginners to stand with ease and ride to the top of the beginner hill.

New: The Terrain Based Learning Area is a revolution within the snow sports industry which makes learning to ski and snowboard easier than ever, eliminates fear and puts the focus on fun.  By using purpose-built snow features to intuitively facilitate the body movements and skills needed to make your first on-snow turns, Terrain Based Learning moves away from your traditional ski and snowboard lesson and gets you, our guest moving and making those first turns faster than ever before.

New: First Adventure Chair Lift has been updated with the newest and latest mechanical devices in the industry. This chair lift, a 3 person express chairlift will service beginner to intermediate skiers and snowboarders. First Adventure along with the E-Z Rider high-speed Quad chairlift and the Valley View double chair lift will provide more skiing and snowboarding time for all customers.

Lessons at Alpine Valley Resort this winter will depend on the weather and will utilize distinct learning features including: rollers and return walls, banked turns and the perfect slopes. Each feature is designed to assist the guest in learning the fundamental skills needed for skiing or snowboarding and eliminates the fear caused by the need to fight gravity from the learning process.  With our new Terrain Based Learning method of teaching, customers taking lessons at Alpine Valley Resort can expect to find a fun and friendly environment.

Alpine Valley Resort is set in the beautiful Sugar Creek Valley with mature trees and rolling terrain common to the Kettle Moraine Area.  Because of this, our ski and snowboard area provides diverse terrain for beginners, challenging expert runs and three full featured Terrain Parks.

Alpine can move more people faster and more efficiently than any other area in the Midwest.

Our three high speed Quad Advanced Chair lifts, 3 express triple chair lifts and one double chair lift provides our customers less time in line and more time on the snow.

Five wonder carpet lifts and professional instructors will help you learn a new sport and improve skills for all ages and levels to enjoy skiing and snowboarding.

There are over 90 skiable acres with 20 Runs, a vertical drop of 388 feet, and the longest run is 3,000 feet.  The steepest run is Big Thunder and the longest slope is Alpine.

We are the only resort in Southeastern Wisconsin that features on-site ski-in/ski-out rooms with a full service Bistro for dining and free weekend family movie nights.

With our three newest groomers and additional advanced snow guns, we can provide the best skiing conditions.
