DIRECTIONS
What are the directions from Chicago?
I-94 west towards Milwaukee, exit WI Hwy 20 west, go to Hwy D (it is approximately 26 miles from Hwy 20 exit to Alpine Valley Resort entrance)
What are the directions from Lake Geneva?
Hwy 120 north to intersection with Hwy D, turn left onto Hwy D, go west to entrance of Alpine Valley
What are the directions from Madison?
Hwy 12 east to Hwy 20, continue east on Hwy 20, watch for intersection with Townline Rd, go south (approximately 3 miles)to entrance of Alpine Valley.
What are the directions from Milwaukee?
I-43 west to Bowers Road exit, turn left onto Bowers Road then left again onto Hwy D, go east to Alpine Valley Resort.

What are your SKI hours?
Midweek: 10:00am to 10:00pm excluding holidays
Weekend: 9:00am to 10:00pm
*typically during holiday hours as well as weekends we have a 5:30 shut down for around 30 minutes to re-groom the hill. *
NEW TO SKIING & SNOWBOARDING?
Do I need to wear a helmet?
No, we do not require helmets but we do RECOMMEND wearing one. We rent them in our rental room for $15 per day.
Do you rent the ski clothing?
No, we do not. We do sell ski clothing in our pro shop.
What should I wear?
Dress in layers and be prepared for the cold weather. We suggest snow pants, winter jacket, hats, gloves and goggles.
STUDENT CLUB CARDS
How much for my student to get a lift ticket and rentals using their club cards?
It is $30 for the lift ticket and $30 for the rentals when club cards are valid.
When are Student Club Cards valid?
Sunday – Friday nights after 3pm
When can my student get their evaluations done?
Evaluations are done when the students school is having their ski night here. The last day of evaluations is January 26th.

Lessons are done when the students school is having their ski night here.
DAMAGED APPERAL
Oil Drips
Our chairlifts require routine lubrication to maintain safe and proper operation. During spring-like conditions or rainy weather, lubricant may occasionally drip onto clothing.
By purchasing a lift ticket, guests acknowledge that this situation can occur.
If oil gets on your jacket, please bring the item to the Hotel Lobby the same day. Our team will make an attempt to treat the stain using products that have worked successfully for us in the past.
Please note:
If the item is taken home and washed, the stain may set and become permanent.
If the garment has been washed at home, we will not be able to treat it at our facility.
Alpine Valley Resort does not provide refunds or replacement apparel due to oil stains.

Do I need to sign a waiver for my kids to ski?
NO you do not.
Do you allow grilling in the parking lot?
We do not allow grilling on the resort premises.
Do you allow RV’s to park/camp in your resort parking lot?
We do not allow RV’s or camping at our resort.
Do you allow sledding?
NO sledding is allowed.
Do you offer cross country skiing?
NO we do not offer cross country skiing.
What is the difference between an All Access Lift Ticket and a Beginner Lift Ticket
The all access lift ticket gives you access to every run and lift at the resort. The beginner lift ticket limits you to the conveyors, only.
What is the vertical drop?
388 feet
Do I need to make a reservation to ski?
No. We sell our lift tickets at Alpine Valley only. No pre sales or reservations are needed.
do you shut down to groom?
Yes we do! On weekends and holidays we typically shut down at 5:30pm to re-groom our hill for the pm grooming lasts around 30 minutes.
Do I need an ID to go to the bar or can i use my phone? The Valley View Lounge, The Bistro, The Fireside, Snowsports Outdoor Bar and Shelter Bar require a physical ID (state, federal, and passports with a picture and proof of age (21 or older)) to purchase alcohol. We DO NOT accept pictures on phones.
Protect Your Gear — Lock It Up!!!! We highly recommend bringing a lock to secure your skis or snowboard when you head inside for food or a break. Locks are available for purchase in our Pro Shop.
