The “Yes!” Moment
Ryan proposed to Gretchen on the land where they were building their dream home. Surrounded by the place where they planned to create their future together, Ryan asked Gretchen to marry him—and she said “Yes!”
The Day We Said “I Do”
Gretchen and Ryan said “I do” at Alpine Valley Resort on June 20, 2026. Their wedding featured a soft blue color palette with beautiful wildflower-inspired details, creating a natural and romantic atmosphere.
One of their favorite memories from the day was dancing and celebrating with their closest friends and family. Their advice for other couples planning their wedding is simple: “Relax—Allison’s got you!”

Every corner of the property made for a beautiful backdrop, and our pictures turned out even better than we imagined. Shout out to matt mason photography – Ben and Rachel Hanson! Alpine Valley’s wedding coordinator, Allison, was incredible. She made sure everything ran seamlessly and was always quick to respond to every text and email throughout the planning process. Her organization and attention to detail made the entire experience stress-free. The food was delicious, the drink selection was excellent, and the ambiance was 10/10. Lighting the fireplace during the reception created such a cozy atmosphere and made an already gorgeous venue feel even more special. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. We stayed in the bridal suite that night, and waking up the next morning to enjoy breakfast burritos on the patio was the perfect ending to an unforgettable weekend. One piece of advice for future couples: carve out time to sneak away with your photographer for sunset photos. The views at Alpine Valley are absolutely breathtaking, and those golden-hour photos ended up being some of our favorites from the entire day. It truly was the best night of our lives, and we wouldn’t change a single thing. We are so grateful we chose Alpine Valley for our wedding and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a breathtaking venue with outstanding service.
