Bartender
Make drinks for guests while adhering to WI rules and regulations, and monitoring the bar and restaurant to maintain a pleasant environment for all guests. Qualifications: Ability to learn about and recite menu items, general organizational skills, knowledge of food safety issues, basic knowledge of liquors, wine and beers. Also need the ability to operate POS system to ring in orders. Bartender License (will need to get if you do not have). NOTE: MUST be available weekends and holidays. Busser
The primary responsibility of a Busser is to set tables with clean linens and silverware and remove soiled dishes, glassware and silverware from the tables. Secondary responsibilities include proper maintenance and cleaning of side stations, floors, furniture, restrooms and perform other duties as assigned. Although the Busser typically works in the dining room assisting the food server, there are times when a busser may be assigned to the bar to assist the bar server or bartender. NOTE: MUST be available weekends and holidays. Golf Course
Golf Course Maintenance
Thank you for your interest in joining Alpine Valleys team of seasonal employees! Alpine Valley Golf is accepting applications for long-term seasonal positions with the possibility of winter seasonal employment as well. We are looking for hardworking individuals to assist in the maintenance of the entire golf facility including maintenance shop, greens, tees, and fairways. Candidates must work well within our golf course maintenance team to help provide the best playing conditions for our guests. Other qualities we are looking for include a positive attitude, an eye for detail, and a willingness to learn new skills. Knowledge of golf beneficial, but not required. WORK SCHEDULE • Long-term seasonal employees generally work from March to November. • The work hours are typically Monday through Friday from 6:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. Must be available to work alternating weekends and holidays. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Operate power tools, string trimmers, push and riding mowers. • Perform manual tasks including hand digging, raking bunkers, setting cups and tee markers, hand watering greens, and filling divots. • Pick up and properly dispose of debris and trash. • Plant flowers, trees, landscaping, and sod. • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as well as clean. Licenses or Certifications • Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license at time of hire and maintain during incumbency. Other Job Requirements • 18 years of age at time of application. • Knowledge of and/or ability to play the game of golf and understand how job performance affects the playing conditions of the golf course. • Communicate effectively; follow oral and written instructions. • Maintain positive interactions with co-workers and guests. • Operate various golf course maintenance equipment including, trucks, sweepers, rollers, mowers, and other mechanical and non-mechanical equipment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Requires full range of physical movement – bending, reaching, lifting, etc. • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT • Ability to work outside in any weather conditions, including temperature extremes.
